Overview
The Systems Analyst (Salesforce) role forms part of the Platforms team within the Technology Department at Zen Internet. Responsibilities include the delivery and support of business applications and functionality on the Salesforce platform (CRM, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and CPQ) for Zen Internet. Additionally, you will proactively work with business users to help improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Zen’s Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Interacting daily with stakeholders to understand and evaluate business processes and key requirements, proactively working to resolve issues
• Applying knowledge of Salesforce functionality and configuration to meet customer needs and requirements
• Salesforce Subject Matter Expert - acting as the bridge between the Business and technology functions
• Work with Business Analysts, Product Owner and Project Managers to ensure that the analysis of business needs, the subsequent requirements/ user stories and business processes are clearly understood and captured
• Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for business suitability
• Work with Senior members of the team to ensure that the design of proposed solutions is in line with best practices and design guidelines
• Adhering to Salesforce system administration guidelines and standards. Configuration and build conducted in line with agreed best practices and processes
• Hands on configuring, administrating and controlling solutions via the Salesforce platform
• Proactive platform monitoring and alerting (including licenses, certificates, API limits, data storage, backups, archiving, availability, performance, emails functionality) - allowing early identification of potential and actual platform issues
• Management and appropriate escalation of any platform issues
• Responsible for understanding latest technical and functional developments in Salesforce (new features and releases)
• Capturing customer insights and feedback to improve Salesforce effectiveness
Skills & experience
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce technologies, platforms, tools, apps, data management and functionality
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
• Hands on Salesforce configuration experience (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
• Experience collaborating with multiple teams to coordinate work and resolve system issues in an Agile/ Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of Vlocity (desirable) • Comfortable interacting with people at various levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively prioritise and escalate issues as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain detail in both a technical and business friendly way
• Detailed, organised, and results-oriented
• Excellent planning and negotiating skills
• Takes initiative and good level of self-confidence • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced Agile environment
• Experience of incremental and iterative delivery of business value.
